TNA District 6 update from Raven Wentworth. Next TNA meeting is Thursday, Jan.16 at JMCGH to discuss influenza and Xofluza

District 6 is looking forward to 2020 as an exciting and busy year. The first meeting for 2020 will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 16th. The meeting will be held at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in the Medical Founders Room C. Dinner will be provided and influenza and Xofluza will be discussed. Information will be provided on the upcoming Nurses Day on the Hill. We invite members, nonmembers, and students to attend district meetings. Now accepting scholarship applications for:

• Maureen Nalle Memorial Graduate Scholarship Program
• The Tennessee Nurses Foundation supports the education of nurses who are members of the Tennessee Nurses Association by providing scholarships for those nurses seeking higher education.
• Arthur Davis LPN to RN Scholarship
• The Tennessee Nurses Foundation supports the education of Licensed Practical Nurses by providing scholarships for those nurses seeking higher education through an accredited LPN to RN nursing program.
• TNF RN to BSN Scholarship Program
• The TNF RN to BSN Scholarship is an educational scholarship for eligible Registered Nurses in the State of Tennessee who are continuing their education to attain a BSN.

The deadline for the above scholarships is 2/29/20.
