APRN Economic Impact Proposal

We are looking to secure funding from a complement of sources and would appreciate support of Tennessee APRNs. We are asking for $2,500 from each of the regional APRN groups. A key point is that the study is time-sensitive. We need to secure funding during July in order to complete the report in advance of the Tennessee General Assembly reconvening in early January and, if possible, before a proposed summit with business stakeholders planned for late October. In other states economic analyses, as we are proposing, have been instrumental in demonstrating the value of better utilizing APRNs and securing support for full practice authority for APRNs as a means to improve access to needed to primary care services from business and other stakeholders.
